You are here: Inspiration / Summer Crafts for Adults

As far as Texas weather goes, this May has felt like a mild one. And, as somebody who loves outdoors but gets overheated pretty quickly, it’s been fabulous! In my patch of the state school had to be cancelled for the last few days due to surprise bad weather and power outages. Last night all I was seeing online was parents freaking out about summer vacation starting early today. And, as it so often does, hearing about something inspired me to blog about it… summer!

Yes, I get that summer doesn’t technically start until June 21. But here in my little patch of the Lone Star State as far as anyone is concerned, summer has begun!

The Best Summer Crafts for Adults

Today I’m sharing all sorts of crafts that are perfect for summer to inspire you to get to making. All of these summer crafts are perfect for adults but many are also good for teens and older kids. Some of our projects today take specialized skills like crochet or quilting, but for the most part you can be a beginner and find a fun craft you’re going to love to make.

There’s not a pompom or popsicle stick in sight! Just fun summer crafts that are just involved enough to be totally satisfying for the adult maker!

Crafting in Summer
