Summer vacation is finally here and I could not be more ready for it! Last summer was a total bummer and I’ve got so much to make up for in 2021! And I’m just about to wig out because I actually get to see my sister and nephews this year. Huzzah! So far we don’t have any concrete plans. In fact, I don’t even know when we’re going to meet up. And that makes it difficult to rent someplace to vacation at but hopefully something will be available when we finally get things nailed down.
One of the things I know that we just have to do is go to the beach. With the exception of last year (because of stupid COVID) we always spend a week at the beach. It was easy when I lived a 20-30 minute drive away from South Padre Island. Depending on traffic through Houston, I’ve got a 1.5-2.5 hour drive to the nearest beach but that’s better than no beach at all :)
And while we’re there, I’m totally going to wear my favorite new summer tee… my Sum Mer Maid tee!
