You might not be surprised that as someone who loves color and crafting that I’d also be the kind of person who LOVES tie dye. Way before the blogging days began I’d buy huge packages of white men’s undershirts and I’d tie dye up a storm on my driveway. Then I’d sit in on the edge of my bath tub 24 hours later with still stained hands (because gloves are for planners, which I am not) rinsing and wringing out 2 dozen or so of my newest favorite shirts in my wardrobe :)
After a few years I had enough tie dye shirts I had made myself that I could have worn a different one every day all summer long. That’s kind of crazy, right?!?
I had kind of gone off of tie dye for a bit but now I’m back. It’s not like it was a choice to go off so much as I’m renting and I was worried about messing up somebody else’s bath tub and stuff like that. But these days I realize that I can totally swing the tie dye and not absolutely ruin this house. Basically the honeymoon is over and I’m not nearly as worried about breaking somebody else’s property, I suppose!
