My family means a whole lot to me. And spending time with my family is the best. Spending the holidays with my family, well, that’s my bliss, I think. Well, there is such a thing as too much family, I suppose. A girl’s gotta have some quiet sometimes.
With the holidays just around the corner (Christmas is in only 35 days) I’ve been primping and dolling up Christmas trees and making decorations and all sorts of good, crafty Christmas stuff. In fact, you might have seen a few weeks back when I made some gorgeously engraved and totally personalized Christmas ornaments just a bit ago…Missed it?

A lot of times I have people ask me what they’d do with a cutting machine like a Cricut Maker especially if they don’t scrapbook. While I suppose that it was a big deal in the paper crafting world, the Cricut Maker has moved beyond that. If you’ve ever seen those groovy tee shirts that people customize themselves, you can cut HTV with a Cricut. You can also engrave things (like the ornaments above, cut leather and wood and a whole bunch of other stuff. You can even put a Cricut Pen in the holder and your Cricut will DRAW for you. Isn’t that so cool?
