I have a hard time staying still. Like a really, really hard time staying still. When I was a kid, my babysitter exorcised me with crisco because I was always tapping my foot and therefore must be possessed. That was fun explaining to my parents afterward! I just have way, way too much energy!

Because I can’t keep my hands still I like embroidery. Like a lot. It’s an inexpensive hobby and you can embroider while you’re waiting at the doctor’s office, watching a movie, traveling in a car. Plus, the amount and size of the supplies are so minimal that you can easily keep a piece tucked away in your car or purse for times that you get put on hold and weren’t expecting it.

Without further ado, here’s today’s craft! It’s two lovely koi fish and what Google Translate told me meant “carp” in Japanese. Don’t fail me now Google Translate. I have put my trust in you! So if it is wrong, blame Google.
