With the surge in popularity in crochet, there has also been a huge modernization in the designs out there. Modern afghans can be a cool color twist on a classic, the inclusion of current trends like tassels, or sometimes it’s a combination of stitches done just a little bit differently. But no matter how you slice it, these projects I’m about to share are my absolute favorite modern crochet afghans I’ve found online. Most are free but a few are paid and I love them so much I think they are worth the cost.
