Last year I had a friend who had a baby and I was pretty excited about it. I matched the colors of her nursery pics on Instagram with a granny square baby blanket and a first Christmas onesie and stuffed penguin. If there’s one thing I’ve learned by not having kids its that it’s super hard to understand children’s sizing and even harder know what size to get littles :) My sister carried the gift to my friend’s sister, like a game of telephone with Christmas goods!
Earlier in the year I had a reader ask if I had updated the cut files for 2020. She was a new aunt and very, very excited to get started on all things Christmas. And, because it’s kind of what I do, I whipped up new cut files and sent them to her, marking this little task off of my to do list. But I forgot to share them here!
So today I’m sharing the 2020 and 2021 (thinking ahead, yep!) annual Free First Christmas Cut File with its companion the Very Merry Christmas cut file for kids and adults to match.
Supplies and Tools you will you need:
- Shirt (Check out our favorite blanks!)
- Cricut Maker (Amazon ⋆ Cricut) or Cricut Air Explore (Amazon⋆ Cricut)
- Cricut EasyPress 2 (Amazon ⋆ Cricut)
- Heat Transfer Vinyl (Amazon ⋆Cricut ⋆ Expressions Vinyl)
- Flocked Heat Transfer Vinyl (Amazon⋆ Expressions Vinyl)
When it comes to making tees for kids I LOVE to use flocked heat transfer vinyl in any color other than white. With the soft fuzz kids love their new clothes! I say other than white, however, because it can get pretty dirty as the littles pet their flocked designs!
