Can I tell you the numbers of Pi beyond 3.1415? Nope. Do I still think it’s HILARIOUS to have a pumpkin pi tee to wear around town during the fall? Yep!
Way back in 2015 (which seems like decades ago with 2020 creeping along in self-isolation) I made pumpkin pi tee because I thought it was hilarious. And apparently a lot of y’all did, too. And so I was a bit taken aback when I got a message from Beth who was incredibly upset that the original Pumpkin Pi download just sort of disappeared from this site. Apparently it was time to make a new round of geek chic Halloween wear for kiddos that have grown. Where did the file go? I have no clue! But it sure as heck was gone.
And so today I set about putting together another post with the same old file. But I’ve been updating quite a few of my free SVG files and it seemed a shame not to update this one, too.
First, let’s take a gander at the original Pumpkin Pi Tee:
The pumpkin is a little squat and I wanted the design to be somewhat simple because I designed it mainly for dudes in my life…
And then the new Pumpkin Pi cut files started happening:
The original design evolved incredibly slightly. I just wanted a more curvaceous pumpkin and a quirky, asymmetrical stem.
But then I was all, hey, an outline would be AWESOME. And so I made a 2 color Pumpkin Pi cut file with the orange of the pumpkin and a black outline tracing everything. I liked it. But THEN…
I was all, what if I totally went out there and made it LEOPARD PRINT? And so I spent (no joke) 2.5 hours drawing up my own leopard print pattern and… Huzzah! I’ve gotta be honest this whole thing was born out of laziness. I thought I’d whip up a tee today with leopard HTV, realized I didn’t have any and so I made a 3-color Pumpkin Pi Leopard Print cut file. Isn’t it so much fun? Want to make any of these awesome 4 variations you please? Let’s get after it…

Of course you can rock out this design in absolutely any colors you’d choose. If you’re not much of a fall colors kind of a person but still love the leopard design, I’d suggest a background of pale pink, leopard dots in brown and the top spotty dots in dark blue. Fun, right?
