Ghost Index Free Halloween SVG

Last summer something very curious happened. My nephews, now teenagers, were more interested in shopping for clothes at Spencer’s than just wherever we happened to take them. Like, they were totally into picking out tee shirts in a way that was awesome. Because before their teenage years they basically just wore whatever anybody gave them.

So one of these days last summer we were perusing the various tee shirts based off of pop culture. The oldest spotted a shirt he really liked but was a weensy bit inappropriate. Because this was Spencer’s and all. If it had been just me I’d been all “NOPE!” because I am NOT getting in trouble for sending the kid home with a shirt that might get him in hot water at school or what have you. But his MOM was there and she was all “THAT SHIRT IS AWESOME, YOU HAVE TO GET IT!” So that was done.

This year I was thinking about our little back to school tee shirt shopping trip and got a giggle. And so I decided to design a Halloween tee shirt that a teenaged boy would like to wear. Because as much as I love my Witches be Crazy free Halloween SVG design, it’s not exactly a masculine design :) This Ghost Index Halloween design is meant to be neither masculine nor feminine so we can all enjoy it.

So… full disclosure when I sketched out my design on a piece of paper my first thought was that for the Dumb Sheet to make a ghost wearing a Dunce Cap. But just in case you are wondering, that looks an awful freaking lot like a racist ghost if you know what I mean… And so I did my best to make my rather ignorant ghost instead look like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber with the bowl haircut and chipped front tooth :)

Color Variations

Depending on the color of shirt you’re transferring your Ghost Index Halloween Design onto, you might need to modify your color choices. Now there is always a lot of room for creativity and my color options are just that… options. Play around with different colors and types of HTV (hello, holographic , glitter, flocked, and glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl!)  Below are links to the Heat Transfer Vinyl colors that should work well on a few common Halloween-y colors:
