Looking for a quick and easy way to bake up some Halloween treats? Make this simple edible blood and you can creep out any baked goods or sweet treats!
Place all ingredients into a small bowl and gently stir together with a mini silicone spatula or similar tool.
Use immediately or transfer to a 4 ounce mason jar and screw the lid in place. Store unused edible blood at room temperature.
Notes
When adding extract start with a small amount and add to taste as some extracts are much stronger than others and can quickly become overpowering.We used burgundy and red gel colors because the burgundy has just the slightest amount of blue to make the red more of a blood red. You can always substitute blue food color you'll just need to add very little and work up. You don't want purple blood!
