Not very long ago I wanted to fill a hexagon terrarium with rocks to accompany my fake succulent. I wound up going with fish gravel because it was the lightest thing I could find. Since then I’ve realized that the fishy stuff makes an absolutely wonderful filler for plants. There are so many fun colors and it’s still very lightweight and I just plain dig it.

So I decided to make a knockout of a planter and use hot pink fish gravel and white pots that I had to DIY because buying was stupidly expensive. And I filled with succulents because they are currently so in and because they’re one of the few things I can’t seem to kill. I mean, I totally forget I have plants and then I don’t water them and then they die and then I feel guilty. Getting faux plants or succulents is just SO much easier :)

Head on over to Mom Spark to see how this fab white and neon succulent planter takes shape!
