Thanks to Bandelettes® for sponsoring this post and sharing with us the glory of no more thigh chafing. All thoughts, opinions and excitement is 100% my own.
There are quite a few things in this world I want for myself. I want to be healthy, to travel, be in the company of the ones I love, to always have animals around me and to feel confident about the way I look. I’m a girly material girl sometimes, too. And one of the things I want more than anything are pretty dresses. Because if I’m making the effort to go out, I sure as heck want to be uber feminine and super cute!
One thing I don’t give a fig about? Having a thigh gap. I don’t know when or why this became “a thing” but I have got to tell you that it is something I do not possess. Nor do I want to. I’m well proportioned and healthy and my thighs touch when I walk and I’m hardly ashamed of that. And you shouldn’t be ashamed either if when standing with your legs together you look like a normal woman.
With that being said I do have a bit of an issue with my thighs. Though I think they are lovely and they do the job of helping to move me around this earth come spring and summer I will have a bit of an uncomfortable issue. To be honest I didn’t know if anybody else ever experienced it and I’m kind of glad I’m not the only gal out there who suffers from… thigh chafing. Yep, this is a real thing and if when you’re walking around in your dresses and having some burning and painful issues that make you fidget and walk funny, you’re in good company my friend.
To be honest I never really thought that there might be a solution to my issue because I didn’t even know it was an issue for other ladies. I mean, this isn’t something we all shout from the rooftops is it? My thighs are freaking killing me so NO I don’t really want to walk all the way to the other side of this freaking hot amusement park so you can get that one flavor of Dippin’ Dots you won’t even eat anyway because you’ll remember after you get it that you never like them no matter the flavor. (Can you tell I have some issues? :)
But now, I have Bandelettes®. It seems such a simple thing… lace you place onto your thighs so that when your dress is swishing so prettily around you, you aren’t silently cursing the rash that is developing just beneath it. But I never thought of this and I was pretty stoked to learn that this is a real thing that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Check out the image above to see how to put them on. Making sure your skin is free of lotions and whatnot, pull the Bandelettes® up onto your thigh and place where your thighs chafe when you walk. Boom, ready for a stroll, anyone?
So do they work? Heck yeah they do! Will I be snapping up more pairs? You freaking know it! If you’ve ever worn thigh highs the feeling is pretty much the same but you don’t have to worry about runners down your calves. They also come several colors and patterns, including solid ones though I do prefer the pretty lace quite a bit. I forgot that “nude” on me normally looks strange because my nude legs look pale, pasty and kind of pink :) I’m going to be snapping up a few pairs of white and a set of black, too!
And it doesn’t matter if you’re tiny or a bit more voluptuous. Bandelettes® fit gals from size 2 to 22! PLUS I have a coupon code for you (which I will be taking advantage of myself) for 15% off through March 31! Just use the code: SWAY to get your discount and banish thigh chafing from your life!
