Not down with the cat talk? Head on over to Mom Spark to learn How to Make Popsicle Stick Christmas Trees.
I capture moths to put outside for fear that my cats will kill them. I bring feral kitties into my home so they can swipe and hiss with somebody who already loves them and learn how to be with people. I try my best not to cry when I see a dead animal on the side of the road. I drive around following my sister, who loves animals just as much as me, flopping to the ground trying to get the biggest dog I have ever seen in my life, that has obviously gotten lost, to trust her enough to get into our car so we can find its owner. (p.s. it took everybody’s sausage biscuits we had just picked up for breakfast but about an hour later he was in the backseat of my mom’s car! :) I try to love things like snakes and potato bugs but I’m not a saint.
So when people email me saying how much they love their animals it makes my heart happy. And when people email me to say how much they love seeing my cat craft assistants getting all up in my crafty business it makes me smile something fierce.
And so when I decided to play around with the bazillion jumbo Popsicle sticks I found in my stash and my kitty Maybelline decided she wanted in on the fun I moved my hot glue gun away from her and let her take part in anything that couldn’t possibly hurt her. She enjoyed herself immensely and I enjoyed watching my little kitten that is quickly becoming an adult cat be happy to be around me.
So head on over to Mom Spark and check out how to make washi tape and popsicle stick Christmas trees. It’s super fun, terribly cute, and cat craft assistant approved :)
