If you don’t think I’m the type of chick that would totally wear a tulle skirt around town, you’re totally wrong! Not too long ago I saw a very pretty lady wearing a champagne tulle skirt and a bright, floral top with champagne flowers among the posies. I thought she looked so amazingly great. Not childish, not overly girly but seriously great. And since I don’t really follow fashion blogs with much regularity I wasn’t too sure how to style a tulle skirt, I just knew I wanted one. Badly.

So I purchased a white skirt for less than $12 (with shipping, how about them apples?!) and got to making my skirt reminiscent of a cloudy sky with blue and white. In the end, I freaking love my skirt so, so much. It’s fun and whimsical and paired with a simple white top and black flats it isn’t an over the top crazy fancy outfit or anything. I wouldn’t wear it to the zoo but I’d totally wear it to the movies on a Friday night!

Head on over to iLoveToCreate to see how I used the very exciting Tulip Colorshot Sprays to liven up my tulle! Bright and Colorful Tutu Tulle Skirt with Colorshot.

I agree with Ama. Very cool idea Allison! It looks lovely on you. Cerulean blue is definitely your color. :)
