Happy Thanksgiving out there, y’all! I truly love this time of year because I think we all need to be reminded to count our blessings and be thankful for the good things we have in our lives. It’s so easy to get sucked into the crap that life brings and forget that there are also good and sometimes even amazing things that we have or feel or do.

I am thankful for this blog. It’s been a wonderful creative outlet for me.

I am especially thankful for this blog in that in the last month I lost my two best paying customers and as a freelancer it was a massive hit. Having the income produced by this blog has made things much easier.

I am thankful that I have a family who loves me and is supportive of everything I do, even if they don’t 100% agree with my thoughts or methods. And I am thankful that I have family members who tell me that they love me and are proud of me often.

I am thankful that I have two little nephews who think the world of me. Any time I ever feel down, being around those awesome kiddos reminds me that I’m pretty darn awesome myself :)

I am thankful that I have the will and the means to work for myself.

I am thankful that I have an active imagination and lots of creativity.

I am thankful for YOU. That you come to my little blog and read what I have to say, take the time to comment or follow my social media and that YOU make my life possible. Without readers this blog would be nothing more than an expensive hobby. From the bottom of my heart… THANK YOU.

These images I just happened to snap as I was doing my winter preparedness before our big cold front moved in here in central Oklahoma. I was insulating my well and covering my outdoor faucets and the storm was rolling in. It was so dark but the sky above me was so light and it made for some really interesting images. If you like them, you may use them for your personal projects, blogs, crafts, etc. Just right click and save the image as (It will save a ginormous high resolution image). They aren’t the greatest hi res storm images you’ll find online. I actually just happened to have my little point and shoot on me which isn’t the greatest quality but they were so pretty I just thought it would be nice to share them.

Hoping you’re stuffed full of turkey (or tofurkey :) and having a fantastically wonderful day. Until tomorrow!
