I can’t resist the sweet and spicy combo when it comes to cocktails and this particular mix has been on my “must make” list for quite some time. Sriracha is my go-to accoutrement for just about everything. Pizza, chili, sauces, and of course.. cocktails. Pairing it with the sweetness of seasonal strawberries makes for a refreshing end-of-the-summer cocktail with a much needed kick!

(makes 2 margaritas)
Ingredients:
½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
½ cup silver tequila
1oz curacao or Triple Sec
Juice from 1 lime
1 Tbs honey (feel free to add more if you like your margaritas sweeter)
1 cup crushed ice
Sugar for rim
1-2 tsp Sriracha
Lime slices and fresh strawberries for garnish
If you want a frozen margarita, freeze the strawberries in a zip-lock bag the night before.
Combine all ingredients, except for the Sriracha, in a food processor or blender and puree until most of the large ice chunks are broken up.
Run a lime slice around the rims of two margarita glasses and dip into a shallow dish filled with sugar to coat the rims. Pour margarita mix into glasses, add a swirl of Sriracha (about a ½ tsp per glass), garnish, and serve. Feel free to add more Sriracha if you’re looking for more spice!
Enjoy responsibly!

These are BEAUTIFUL and sound positively delicious! Much better idea than my heavy helping (didn’t seem it at the time..) of raw jalapeño slices muddled down. And sriracha makes me feel so spicy! Trying these very soon :)
