Today we’re going to make some super simple alien finger puppets!
I guess by now you can tell that I love finger puppets and felt. There is something wonderful about watching kids use their imaginations instead of just their thumbs! There is also something wonderful about making something that will be enjoyed for, quite literally, cents!
Since I’m heading down to see my family, and picking up my sister and nephews along the way, I made a couple of new finger puppets to share the 7 hour drive with us!
Since I’ve already shown how to make them, and I’m trying to get out of town, I‘ll link up with my Easter Finger Puppets post. There you’ll see how, in detail, to turn your scraps of felt into fun and playful little friends for your favorite kiddos. For the teeth on these guys, cut a small slit, shove the teeth in there (placement is marked on the pattern as a dashed line) and sew to hold in place.
Click the pattern below to get the full size PDF. There is no scaling necessary. Just open, print and begin!
I hope that you enjoy this project and have a fabulous weekend! See you again in a week! :)
