The Refashioned Pom Pom Blazer

Celebrate in style with your very own completely unique DIY statement blazer and cause some colourful fireworks wherever you go!
Hit your closet, sift through your stash or head to the thrift shop and get making the refashioned pom pom blazer to step out in vibrant, one of a kind style!

I grabbed a blazer, a bunch of pom poms and fabric glue. This was my very first attempt at using fabric glue…
and I was thoroughly unimpressed with the results. Unfortunately I fell for the slick advertising and believed the staff at the craft store but what I had envisioned as a wonderfully quick and easy project turned into a sticky yet somehow completely non-adhesive mess – harrumph!
So I snagged my trusty needle and thread and handstitched the pom poms to the lapels of the blazer – definitely more time consuming but absolutely strong, secure and washable!
I love my fancy new blazer!

That is really cute. I’ve always been skeptical of fabric glue and after reading your post, I most definitely will not ever try it.
