Valentine’s day is just around the corner, for me, the best gift is a nice post card with a few words about what makes your valentine a special person to you. Would it be even better if you can give a homemade valentine card? Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a pop-up heart card.
You will need colors papers, glue, a pencil, a utility knife and a ruler.
Cut a 6′ x 12′ rectangle in the card stock paper and fold it the middle. Cut a 6′ x 6′ square in the patterned paper.
Glue the square paper on the front of the card.
Open the card, draw a vertical line in the middle of the left flap. Then draw a half heart on the left.
With the utility knife cut out the half heart shape. When you are done, erase the line and the pencil marks.
Fold the front of the card in the middle, and a complete heart will appear.
Write down some sweet words and done! It’s a really fast project, so you can make as much as you want, using any paper color you like!
