I have a feeling that just about every gal out there with sensitive skin is down for a sugar scrub. There are no weird chemicals or scents that will bust your business out in a rash. I had always gone store bought until I a bag of “bad” brown sugar was tossed into the garbage.
Yeah, it was too hard to make cookies with but surely it wasn’t just trash, right? I tried adding it to my tea and recipes and it just didn’t work for me. And then I started noticing the popularity of DIY beauty products. So I dug through the pantry looking for dregs of this and that to add to my own homemade scrub recipe.
Basically everything in this is stuff you probably already have in your pantry which makes the project awesome. Also, it’s a really simple recipe meaning you can mix things up and transform it as you please. Love citrus? Get some zest up in there! Have 4 pounds of sugar left after an ill conceived Kool-Aid bender, yeah, me too!
So hop on over to Mom Spark and see all about how to make your own Pantry Raid Sugar Scrub. See you over at the DIY!
(and yes, I know it sounds an awful lot like Panty Raid and that’s why I am particularly fond of this title)
