Old Shoes – Easy New Look!

August 28, 2012Allison Murray

Shoe clips are an easy an inexpensive way to restyle an old pair of shoes. The steps honestly couldn’t be simpler…

Use some strong glue, like E-6000 and spread onto your clips (purchase them in the jewelry section at hobby stores, on Etsy or get a steal on Ebay). Press against your decorative item and hold until stuck. Lather, rinse, repeat!

Here are the same pair of shoes are a couple of pairs I made with things I found waiting to be used in my craft stash:

These clips are made from butterfly fridge magnets!

For this set I paired some 30 mm oval cabachons with some white and black guinea hen feathers!

For these I used ribbon left over from my specs holder and lace my grandmother gave me.

This design is wicked! You obviously know how to keep a
reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog
(well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!
