I don’t pull out the big guns for Easter. I’m just not into the Easter decorations AT ALL. I decided it is because pastels just don’t fit well into my home. And truthfully, even if they did, I don’t like them enough to have them in my decor scheme.

So what is a craft blogger who doesn’t like Easter decorations do when her assignment is to make an Easter table runner? Bust out the gold paint and tie dye, of course!

And since this lovely isn’t specifically Easter themed, I can use it any time. I’m seeing gorgeous cakes and birthday flowers in the center or a fun, ice cream bar set up. And since I don’t have tons and tons of space to keep my decorative stuff, this works out better for me in the end.

Though there are some super cute bunny themed table runners out there, this ain’t one of them. Head on over to Mom Spark to get the details to make your very own No Sew Tie Dyed Easter-ish Table Runner!

Oh, and if you’re wondering that prop cake (yes, I made a cake just to take a slice out and set it on top of my table runner for nicer pics) is a Magic Cake with raspberry compote and it’s freaking YUM. You can get the recipe for the cake here…

I love this. I also am not a fan of cheesy Easter decor. I love peeps in my my kids’ Easter baskets but I don’t want a wreath made from them! Love this Easter-y table runer that would also rock a birthday party or craft party. Pinning to my modern Easter board.
