My favorite craft I made in March? This Magatama snake Kumihimo bracelet!

March 2014 was a great month for me! I was really happy with every single craft I made (some months that isn’t the case) and it was a good month overall. But I also only made 22 things this busy month but it was worth it!

I took about 10 days off which was amazing and got to spend time with my family including my favorite little dudes. We went thrifting and I came home with a car full of good stuff that I’ll be upcycling for you. It was pretty awesome because here in “The City” a.k.a. Oklahoma City thrifting is popular and the prices have sky rocketed at all of my previous regular thrift spots. But in my sister’s town, where I grew up, there are two shops in particular that I LOVE… Sunshine Industries and St. Mary Parish Thrift Shop.

But let’s check out what I made with my own two hands!

My snake clasps came in the mail today! I can’t wait to make the bracelet with my sister, even though it may be a month or 2 before I can steal her 15yo self. Sister bonding time. It sounds like you may have got a good dose of it in too. I am glad you had fun! :o)

Ooh, you have to send me pictures, Charlie. I’m so excited and I want to see what you two ladies whip up! And have a great time with your sister… whenever you can steal her away! :)
