DIY ikat sneakers at iLoveToCreate!

You know what’s awesome? Ikat pattern. You know what’s even more awesome? Ikat sneakers. Yeah! And today you’re going to learn how to dye up your own pair. But the post isn’t here, it’s somewhere else.

Because I’m officially an iLoveToCreate blogger! Yeah! How exciting is this? I have wanted to tell you so, so badly but, BAM! There it is!

I think you already know from my posts that I’m a big fan of iLoveToCreate products. A lot of my favorite glues in my glue guide were Aileene’s, an iLoveToCreate brand. I use a lot of Tulip tie dye kits, fabric paints, fabric markers, also an iLoveToCreate brand. So this isn’t just a good opportunity for me and my blog, it’s also getting to partner up with a brand that I enjoy using and totally believe in.

Oh, my, goodness. You have no idea how good it feels so good to finally share this with you!

But back to ikat sneakers.. Ikat is big and only getting bigger. I sincerely hope that it’s going to tackle chevron and just knock it out because I’m over it. And ikat is such a neat pattern, so artistic. And it’s an artistic looking pattern without needing to be an artist to create yourself. These ikat sneakers uses some left over tie dye and a brush and that’s pretty much it. So go ahead and click on over and learn how to make your own ikat sneakers on the iLoveToCreate blog! Woohoo :)

Hoping your Thursday is completely fantastic. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for a super easy jewelry DIY!

And if you’re down with checking out some more shoe makeovers (47 others to be exact) be sure to check out my shoe project gallery and keep yourself in unique kicks for days!

Congrats Allison! I love ikat too, and I love the colors you used and created on these sneakers!

Thanks so much on all accounts, Laura! These shoes are for my mom. I’m thinking of making another pair in orange and red for myself!
