Ever wonder how to say I love you in different languages? You’ll definitely want to grab this FREE I love you Valentine SVG File that is so sweet in 9 different languages!
I’m kind of in love with a lot of things right now… And it’s making for a more fun Valentine’s season than the year I made some Anti-Conversation Heart Sneakers :) I LOVE that it’s a new decade and, in general, I’m in love with the new life I’m making for myself. My new house is slowly becoming more me and I am absolutely loving taking on the challenge of a new space with a design aesthetic totally different from my own. I’m loving that I’m no longer a 1 or 2 day drive from my nearest family. And I’m loving that I have big, big plans for myself.
Being so in love with so much I found myself googling how to say I love you in different languages. And as I sat there looking at all of the many ways one very strong emotion can be expressed I thought it would make the loveliest tee shirt! And I LOVE the fact that this project is PERFECT for using HTV scraps. In fact, I just love, love this whole project all of the way around!

So my list of how to say I love you in different languages is totally sourced… I first started going to language learning sites to try and find out how to say I love you in different languages. But, in the end, I relied on good old Google Translate. If you see something that is inaccurate, just give me a shout and I’ll get it fixed up ASAP!

Which languages are on our free Valentine’s SVG?
This free SVG looks amazing on a tee shirt (I’m putting mine in rainbow colors on a pastel pink sweatshirt, so cute!) and great on a tote bag, too! It’ proudly declares “I LOVE YOU” in English, Spanish, Malagasy, Tagalong, Portuguese, Esperanto, Italian, Swahili, and French. I went with only languages that use characters my fonts have (which didn’t include Mandarin or Russian, for example). And if you’ve never heard about Esperanto, it’s a totally artificial language that was created by Dr. L. L. Zamenhof in 1887 and stems from the Romance languages. It’s meant for speakers of different languages to still be able to communicate. It’s only spoken as a second language by approximately 2 million people, by my research. Cool, right? <-internet rabbit hole time, folks!
