Homemade Sloppy Joes
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tsp. brown sugar
- salt & pepper to taste
- Brown the beef with garlic & onions
- Drain the grease
- Mix in ketchup & brown sugar
- Season to taste
- Reduce heat & simmer for 30 minutes
- Serve with your choice of bread.
I chose hot dog buns, because that was all we had. You could do sandwhich bread, croissants, or your own homemade rolls.)
