First things first, as you may already know, I don’t have kids. Not a single one. Sometimes I borrow them but I always, ALWAYS give them back.
That doesn’t mean that I haven’t had my fair share of late night (into early, early morning) cram sessions of wrapping a boat-load of Christmas presents or carameling up a gazillion apples or filling enough Halloween treat bags for every kid in the world. And those times suck. And I know carameling isn’t a word and I don’t care.
So I’ve been trying to think of ways for fun Halloween parties for kids that aren’t a total nightmare stress ’em out for the parents. And I figure working up a bunch of cute Halloween treat bags sounds like a great idea in the beginning and ultimately becomes a pissy task that you just wish was finished already.
So why not put those kiddos to work? Make ’em earn that treat bag by decorating their own? Get the full details over at Mom Spark this week – Kid DIY – Halloween Treat Bags!
