Glittered Hulkamania Tee

Now you’re probably asking yourself. Will this chick actually wear a glittered Hulkamania tee shirt out in public? And the answer is yes. Absolutely. At the convenience store I most commonly fill up at, I get a “Hey, Beer Today Lawn Tomorrow!” comment from the otherwise very sweet checker. Wear a Father’s Day shirt in there once and now every stinking time… “Hey!!! Beer…”

To be honest, I like weird tee shirts. And people like giving them to me. Last count I had over 120 tee shirts neatly folded up in my closet. I rarely look to see what is on the shirt. I mean if it is a tee shirt and jeans kind of a day, it isn’t like I need to be careful about matching, do I? And while I might have been teased for ages for wearing a Modelo shirt (hey, it was free!) when as a Celiac and can’t even drink beer, it would appear that I could hardly give a fig because I wore that shirt just yesterday.

That is not my personal tee nor are those my man muscles. I’m considerably squishier and a whole lot less vein-ier.

So when I saw this fab Hulkamania tee for only $7.50 I had to snag it. I excitedly showed it to my mom who said – and I quote – “yup.” Nonplussed it went into the cart and came home to become the glorious, glittered tee that it now is. Unfortunately it wasn’t designed for ladies. Perhaps that is why I found it in the men’s section. But when work by someone with even meager boobs it is so hard to read the words on the darn thing (hence the unknown male model above).

But let’s get on with this thing, already.

For this project you will need:

This is the pen version of the Tulip Fashion Glitter Bond. It’s super easy to use and you write with it just like a pen! Uncanny, right?

Since your shirt is already printed, you’re just basically coloring on top of it! Fill in the areas you wish with the glitter bond, working in small-ish areas so the glue doesn’t dry on you.

And glitter it in a matching color just in case there are areas where the screen print below peeks through.

Quick tip, when using these nifty little glitter shakers, pop the top and hold like you see me up there. Use your forefinger to tap the bottom and the perfect amount of glitter will come out. Not too much, not too little… perfect.

Cover all the areas you wish on your shirt. Since mine was just a word and all in the same color, the project was super quick only taking about 30 minutes start to finish. You can do multiple colors though and I have a feeling that would be one seriously awesome shirt.

My shirt went from cool if a little boring to amazing and bling and I LOVE IT!

Even if it kind of reads “ulkaman” when anybody sees me directly from the front.

You can also glitter up team tees perfect for those Friday night lights or band shirts to help you stand out at your next rock show! But in the words of my man Droz “You’re wearing the shirt of the band you’re going to see? Don’t be that guy.”

I am a huge WWE fan, its like a really bad addiction. I would totally wear this or any other glittered wrestling shirts; I think this is a major flaw you have discovered and remedied. This tutorial ran wild on my heart. It’s a little unfortunate that is fits awkwardly, but I think it’s still an A+ shirt
