What’s your word or phrase for 2017? Mine is “Good things come to those who hustle.” Unlike many I didn’t figure out my phrase until part-way through 2017. My year didn’t get off to the start I had hoped for because of drama and worry and illness. And as I had to deal with all of these stressful and frustrating things getting my work done has been incredibly difficult. But now I’m back at it and super stoked for the future for myself and this blog in 2017. And, yes, I did stick the corner of a sheet in my mouth to check.)

I’ve decided despite any fear, drama or stress, I’m going to do my best to keep my future and my fate strongly within my own hands. I don’t know how things will end up come December but if things don’t pan out, it surely won’t be for a lack of trying because
