My cat snores. I know this because my sweet baby JouJou spends my entire workday with me. He hangs out either on a brightly colored Aztec fleece throw I pulled out of Rob’s bachelor stuff or he sleeps in a box that some Amazon Prime business came in. And right now my little orange man is all fittin’ and sittin’ and snoring like you wouldn’t possibly believe a cat would be capable of – ha! :)
The other day I was working out how to make a felt shamrock pin for over on at Mom Spark and it was totally breaking my brain. I thought this would be a bing, bang, boom and it’s done kind of a thing but to get the felt to turn into something that actually looked like a 4 leaf clover took me, wait for it, almost 5 hours to figure out. FIVE HOURS. Luckily felt is cheap, amIright?
While I worked I had either sweet Jouj butting his head into my hands as I tried to fold and stitch or I just listened to him snore to Father John Misty in the background. And I realized that though I was so frustrated with my inability to knock this little project out, I was quite happy in my little crafty bubble with my cat craft assistant. Want to see how to make this sweet little felt brooch that is waaay easier than I originally made it out to be? :) Check it out over at Mom Spark! Four Leaf Clover Felt Brooch
