Fall Snow Globes Tutorial

Back before the blog my sister and I attempted to make snow globes with my nephews. We found a tutorial online and purchased all of the required items to the letter. We purchased the exact same glue, type of glitter and all of that. And guess what? It didn’t pan out!

We had one with an angel bobbing up to the top of the glass because it was no longer glued to the lid, and to be honest it wasn’t much of a loss ¬†considering the fact that since we had glued the statue onto the lid, a good portion of it wasn’t even visible!

The others all leaked. Every last one had NO water inside of them. Instead it was all over the table and floor!

Fall Snow Globes Tutorial

You know what a snow globe is without water? A hunk o’junk. ESPECIALLY if the directions have you superglue the lid on. So when Amy at Mom Spark asked me to rock out some snow globes I really, REALLY didn’t want to do it. But I did and I worked through every last kink I could think of!

So head on over to Mom Spark to see a no fail way to make snow globes. NOT big jars with some dry glitter and a loose statue stuck inside!
