You Look Fine Etched Mirror Tutorial at Mom Spark!

I don’t know if I’m the only one who does this or not, but I have a tendency to look in the mirror without ever looking in it. As a good example, say I’ve got schmutz on my face. Though I’ve looked in the mirror a good number of times, at least every time I’ve washed my hands, I never noticed said schmutz. I’m only aware of the yick I need to get rid of when somebody else tells me. In other instances I look in the mirror without really paying attention because something in my head says “you look fine. Let’ts just move this along… we’ve got things to do and places to be.”

So, rather than having a mirror that is plain and square and boring, I decided to use a Silhouette Glass Etching Kit to turn it into something a little more decorative and a lot more humorous. In the end, I decided to include some hexagon because hexies are in, baby. I love my mirror and it’s not perfect but I’m really happy with it for a first attempt with the kit (because I can’t just etch a monogram on my juice glass or something for my first ever try, go big or go home!)

Head on over to Mom Spark to get the tutorial, free cut file (just in case you look fine, too) and see what I think about the kit. Heads up, I freaking love it! You Look Fine Etched Mirror Tutorial at Mom Spark!

Schmutz really is an English word? How cool!

I’d love to have an reminder like “You look fine” on my normal bathroom mirror. Might be a good start in the day!

    Have an awesome week!

It is a Yiddish word – isn’t it a fun one :) Glad you like the mirror and I hope your week is amazing as well!

Ah, that makes sense, why it is also a German word!

And I live your new design, it looks great!
