Driftwood Wreath Tutorial – Patriotic Star

Make a driftwood wreath - so easy! Cute star shape, too!

I’ve been wanting to craft with driftwood for some time. And every time I go to the gulf I say to myself  “self, remember to pick up some of that freaking driftwood would ya?” And I never, ever do.

But then I was given the challenge of making a modern yet patriotic wreath for Mom Spark. Now I can’t say that this is too terribly modern, though I just knew it would be since driftwood is so hip, but it is super cute! And if you have the crafting skills of an elementary school child (can glue things) and the common sense to be careful when dealing with molten glue (alas, I often nonsensical in this department) you’re ready to get after this driftwood wreath tutorial!

So gather that driftwood – or order it online like I did because I’m too darn forgetful to grab a bag of sticks – and get ready to make a super cute, though not terribly modern star shaped patriotic statement of freedom. Hmm. the totally awesome driftwood wreath tutorial is just waiting for you over at Mom Spark!

Although I’m not for the American patriotic things, I LOVE all things driftwood … and this star is no exception. It looks really awesome!

    Love, Midsommarflicka
