Doughnut Headphone Holder

January 16, 2016RaChil Luke

Hey guys! As you may or may not know, college classes started back up last week. I’ve been enjoying my courses but I’ve already gone through 2 sets of headphones this semester! I usually keep them in my purse with my iPod and lately they’ve gotten tangled in all the other things that live in my purse and when I try to get them out I end up ripping them. As a creative person I came up with a creative solution!

suppliesSupplies:

  • Perler beads
  • Iron
  • Ironing paper
  • Hot glue gun
  • Doughnuts (optional)

Step 1: Follow the patterns below to make your doughnut peices. I used the circle pegboard that came with the big perler kit. Make one of each.

You’ll also need 2 pieces that are just the fourth circle from the middle.

Step 2: Place your design down carefully on an ironing safe surface and cover it with ironing paper (parchment paper works too!)

Step 3: Now that you’ve got all 4 pieces ironed it’s time to assemble them! Here is the order they go in:

Make sure you apply hot glue to both pieces before putting them together or else it will not stick!

Ta-da! All finished!

What an amazing idea :) Now, I know the next thing I’ll be making with perler beads!
