So I can’t do things small. I like things to be BIG! Which is why instead of making hanging pendant lights out of soup cans I went to the hardware store and bought some quart cans! And these guys are big, bold and fabulous! To be honest, I totally had a hard time NOT buying the gallon cans and DIYing up some gigantic sized ones, but heck, I still can rock that dream!

These lights are so pretty and so awesome that I am in LOVE with them crazy super big time. As are the boys. We’ve had them in the bathroom hanging and are having regular, impromptu bathroom disco parties with just a little spin. Littlest one has even made a song for these disco parties. Granted the lyrics go “disco party mmm, mmm, disco party” but they’re done so well that it is incredibly catchy.

I remeber I did lights like these when I was a kid. I loved how they looked. I think, I may do some again now for my own. And using big color cans instead of the smaller ones is an awesome idea!!
