Hot for Chocolate Recipes!

Do you have phases? I’ve been told that now I’m in my mid-thirties that I should be over phases. But I’m really not. If I’m in the mood for sweets I’m in one of three phases… All fruit all of the time. Or all fruit-y but very sugary candy. And last of all the big mamba jamba my chocolate phase. Sure to put a good solid inch or two on my hips, when I’m about the chocolate, I’M ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE.
And right now, it’s chocolate season, baby. I’m having the hardest time saying no to everything chocolate. I’ve had some of those cheap chocolate coins hanging out on my desk for a project and I am desperate to eat them. And they’re not great and I even know that! I passed by a See’s candy store and it was so hard to just. keep. walking.

And while I am quite a fan of candy bars and other easily accessible chocolates, what I really love are cakes and bars and desserts! Since I’m gluten free most everything has to be made at home, though. Here are some amazing and mostly gluten free (one or two not gluten free ones might have slipped through the cracks, hence the disclaimer!) that look so amazing you won’t even care you have to life G free! Really great looking chocolate you have here Allison! Love the berries too!
And I go through phases too and one of mine happens to be chocolate (the others being coffee and tea[just started that one]), maybe a few others that I can’t think of at the moment. Nothing wrong with having phases! ;) And though I’m not a gluten free kind of guy, I do watch my calorie intake very closely, often only eating portions of something rather than the whole thing all at once. But every now and then I have to break my routine of eating healthy and just have some good ‘ol fashion chocolate. :)
