New Year’s Eve Champagne Flutes at Mom Spark!

Etch cheap glass to make fancy drinkware!

I am not going to sit here and pretend that I’m the type of person who drinks champagne at all, let alone out of champagne flutes. I am not. I’m the type of gal that constantly has a bottle of water in hand and special occasions are normally heralded with “a Sonic” in my hand. For any of you who aren’t from Oklahoma where Sonic is an institution and a way of life, “a Sonic” is your favorite beverage from the drive in restaurant of the same name.

Now I’ve had champagne before and tried to pretend like I enjoyed it as much as everyone around me but to be honest the only thing I care for with champagne in it is salad dressing. BUT I know that I’m the minority and not the majority. So with New Year’s Eve coming up, it seemed like a perfect time to work on some champagne flutes just for the evening. They’re cheap and personalized and with DIY being all the rage will be quite the conversation starter at your NYE gathering. Be sure to say a little toast to me when you’re sipping champagne and watching the ball drop. The party animal that I am, I’ll be fast asleep in bed.

Head on over to Mom Spark to get the details to make your own etched New Year’s Eve champagne flutes!
