Life has been a little bit crazy for me in the last year. 2019 is a year that I don’t want to repeat but I must admit that I’ve learned a lot from it. I can’t even explain how ready I am to start fresh in 2020. I spent far more time this year at doctor’s offices and hospitals for loved ones than I ever have. This includes 2 insanely stressful weeks spent in a room in Intensive Care. And I went through a big move and even bigger break up and the whole thing had me feeling really crummy.

It took some time but I’m finally piecing together a life of normalcy. Yesterday my mom, dad, and I started moving boxes into my new home. MY NEW HOME. Searching for a place to buy was also incredibly stressful and something I was pretty much ready to give up on. But it all came together and I have a beautiful new place to call home.

The previous owner’s style is different from mine and super fancy. I’m far more cozy with mismatched items that I love in spite of not fitting in with my decor. But the design in this  house is immaculate. After starting to move my stuff into the home I’m seeing how it won’t be hard to make the space my own. Finding a house to call my own is something that I am ridiculously grateful for. Getting it just in time to start over in 2020 feels like a miracle.

I’m ready for a change…

I’ve decided that 2020 is going to be MY YEAR. And, yes, an At-a-Glance Calendar is going to help me get there. Not only a new year, but also a new decade I’m so excited for the future. But I also know that the new  me is still going to be terrible with dates. Like, really horrible. I miss appointments and get confused on what day what is happening. It’s a mondo problem. Having my dad show up for something and ask why I’m not dressed yet for things stresses me out. We both know I forgot that I had something to do but I just run and brush my teeth and throw on a bra and get to gettin’.

I will get ORGANIZED.

2020 is the year where I don’t just get my act together and get organized but CRAZY ORGANIZED. I’m going to have my act together. I WILL remember important dates. Taking a cue from past me, the more organized me I sat at my computer and got to designing. Which is something I’ve done a whole lot of this year… Today I’m sharing with you the result of my getting my act together, my 2020 at-a-glance calendar.

An at-a-glance calendar is the coolest thing.

Printed on a large piece of paper, this free printable calendar can be hung on a wall or placed on top of a desk. From there you can see your ENTIRE YEAR in one glance. How cool is that? Because when you’re trying to figure business out, flipping pages in a calendar can be irritating. It’s a great way to keep track of doctor’s appointments and regularly scheduled events. Plus you can add in birthdays, holidays and all of that business. And in March you can look over and notice that Sweet Aunt Sally has a birthday in May and get to brainstorming the perfect gift for her.

Designed to fit horizontally on 18″ by 24″ paper, this color calendar is inexpensively printed at Staples. For around $2.50 apiece when printing ask for the “color blueprint option” and this free printable is incredibly budget friendly. You might even want to print an extra (or 2) because when others see it they’re going to love how convenient it is!

Let’s all get organized and have a fabulous start to the new year and new decade!

Thanks for the At-A-Glance Calendar, very useful! Hope 2020 is your good year. I’ve found that when I learn from negative times, things do look much better. Good luck!
