13 Fun Kid Valentine’s and Crafts

February 9, 2014Allison Murray
These fun kid Valentines and projects are perfect for little ones and big ones of all ages including some non-food options!

I love giving kids the opportunity to get crafty so much. It warms my heart to hear my nephews ask “can we have craft time?” They’ll totally destroy my craft room/office putting my trashing skills to shame, I’ll step on perler beads for weeks after they are gone and I’ll have to go through “un-mixing” my differently sized googly eyes, but in the end it’s all worth it. So today I’m sharing my favorite 13 favorite kid Valentine’s and crafts!

These friendship bracelets from Dandee are so cute. And I love the saying “our class would KNOT be the same without you!“. This is a great non-food type of Valentine to give out and this bracelet is really nothing more than a braid. Nifty!

Heart Candy Buttons (2 of 3)

I can tell you the very first time I had button candy… it was driving away from Sea World in San Antonio, TX and they were great. These super cute heart button candies from Tikkido are both ombre, which is in, and not going to be backed with a bunch of paper, either!

These monster card boxes from Giggles Galore also take me back to my childhood. In elementary school one year our teacher gave us all tissue boxes to decorate much like this. It was so much fun. I just know you and yours will LOVE making one!

The little fishermen (or fisherladies) in your family totally need one of these adorable Valentine candy tackle box from Shaken Together. How smart is this? Love!

Looking for a fun but cute kid’s day activity that won’t break the bank? What about whipping up some of these lil love monsters with a fantastic tutorial from eighteen25?

Now I’ve never met a kid who didn’t like marshmallows. I know they’re out there but I’ve never come across any of them. Which makes me think that these Marshmallow love bugs from The Decorated Cookie are sure to be loved and devoured so much!

I think this is so, very clever. A clothespin decorated with a nomming heart with the Valentine message I “chews” you Valentine. Absolutely genius! Get the tutorial for this and yet another chewsy option over at All for the Boys.

Another great non-food option, this “Blowing Valentine kisses your way…” is yet another very clever Valentine. Kudos to The Mother Huddle for thinking this up, and sharing a free printable!

What a fun kid valentine this is! Erin from Strawberry Mommy Cakes whips up this super fun printable over at I Heart Nap Time. This is one super inexpensive project if you can print the freebies at home! Mustache and Lip Suckers.

I’ll Tumble for You, Valentine! Who doesn’t love a game of Jenga? This version from Tried and True is a bit different with tasks to complete like, tell me a joke! Head on over to see the full tutorial!

I remember making lots of candy jewelry as a kid and it was always so much fun! See how to make these Valentine jelly bean bracelets with a little help from Stuff Parents Need.

And do you have a little fashionista or two that could be kept busy this February? How about these adorable heart button beaded bracelets and necklaces from Mama Miss? So cute! I just want to tickle that little belly!
