Is there anything in this world cuter than a Vintage Valentine? Maybe babies, kittens and puppies but not a whole lot else that I can think of. Often they are punny and sometimes they are a little strange, but they are always awesome! Check out some awesome resources I have found online. They are available for use in your craft projects unless otherwise noted. Be sure to check the info on the site in case it happens to change.
My favorite online collection is from Flickr user ValArt2008. Not only is this a nice vartiety of vintage designs, the images are perfectly colored. If you look around a while you'll notice that an awful lot of vintage cards you'll find online for use are pretty washed out... But not these, totally gorgeous!!

I'm cuckoo over you, Valentine.

To my Valentine - I'd like to burro my way into your heart!
Another great resource that is well tagged is Hearts a Twirl. I especially love their "scary" section. Here are two of my favorites! They are the style that is short and opens up vertically, so the gals "grow" taller. (please note, I edited the color in the two below images myself)

Dear Valentine - though I'm no puppet here's your chance - Just pull the strings and watch me dance! There are no strings to this offer, either!

Valentine Greetings. I'm very exercised of late. But anyhow please get me "straight". I want to be your Valentine.
Next up is Vintage Holiday Crafts. Their selection for this particular type of Valentine is pretty small, but they've got tons of others in different styles. Overall, it is definitely worth a look...

"Darn" it! You gotta be my Valentine!

I'm gonna "pop" a "corny" question... Will you be my Valentine?
About.com has also curated a pretty awesome collection of 42 vintage cards.

Loving you, dear Valentine, is my hobby. I love you.

I aim to have you for my Valentine.
There are even a few cute images over at Hub Play.

To my love.
And there is always the Graphic's Fairy. A search for " Valentine" pulled up some absolute cuties but this retro find is my favorite!

Be Mine.
And for even more vintage Valentine fun, check out Vintage Valentine Museum. I cannot find if these are acceptable for use, but they have some very, very interesting cards like this freaky fella'.!
It "strikes me" that I love you. (it strikes me that someone might have issues)
For some more inspiration and great resources check out Tommy W on Pinterest - his board Vintage Valentine Cards is definitely worth a browse. Plus, you just might find some other boards worth following!

You sure suit my taste - my Valentine!

If you don't love me... the bear gets it. (another card with issues and I LOVE it!)
And last but definitely not least, check out my DIY for a handmade cards over at Mom Spark!

Bee still my heart!
Happy Tuesday out there!

Those old valentines are in great shape. They must have been stored very carefully.
Hey, Flash. I think the whole process of collecting vintage paper items must be a labor of love. Finding them in good condition and then keeping them that way must be a considerable effort!
