Do you have a collection of jars just waiting to be transformed into something usefully unique? Is your stash of little DIY bits n’ bobs getting out of hand? I’ve got the groovy solution to both of those crafty conundrums right here:
How adorable are my Upcycled DIY Storage Jars? They’re a snap to create from items you already have around the house and can be personalized to fit any decor!
Grab a few empty, clean jars, all purpose glue and whatever funky bits you’d like to use as lid toppers. (As these were going to be used for craft storage I selected empty thread spools – sift through your junk drawer and crafty stash and let your imagination run wild!)
Glue your chosen toppers to the jar lids and allow to dry completely.
Give the lids a few coats of that leftover spray paint you’ve had for ages and let dry.
Fill up the jars, pop on the lids and enjoy your lovely upcycled storage solution!
My pom poms, lace appliques and mini animals are no longer scattered about and easy to find!
I spied a funky vintage shelf at the thrift shop and just knew it would be awesome for my storage jars – after a makeover, of course!
How gorgeous is it now?!
And the perfect compliment to my craftastic upcycled storage jars!
