Most of us have a tacky brooch (or three) lurking at the bottom of our jewelry boxes so why not transform them into quirky one of a kind arm adornments?
Raid your stash or hit the thrift shop and create the upcycled brooch bracelet for yourself! (also makes a groovy DIY gift!)
Grab a brooch, some chain, a clasp (I pinched mine from that broken necklace) and your pliers.
Remove the pin from the back of the brooch and any other excess sillines (those ugly side chains had to go!)
Measure the chain around your wrist and chop to your desired length then attach it to the brooch.
**if your brooch does not have handy side loops to attach the chain to simply attach it to the remaining brooch clasp & post as I did in my Refashioning 101: Upcycled Accessories tutorial
Add the clasp.
And your fancy new arm gear is complete!
I was not a fan of those faux pearls so I put on my refashionista thinking cap,
and painted over the beads with some coordinating nail polish! Much better!
A fabulous, completely unique accessory created from bits I already had!
