Photo Boxes into Easy DIY Medicine Storage & FREE Printables

Easy DIY Medicine Storage DIY + cute FREE Printables with Dream a Little BiggerSomething came to me very, very clearly not too long ago. I was at somebody else's house when it struck. An awful kind of ill that you don't want to happen let alone have to discuss with your host to request the appropriate medication. So what do I do? I sit there and suffer rather than be embarrassed and feeling better.

It's ridiculous and I know that I'm not the only one that does this. I also noticed that I, along with everyone else I know stores the household medicine in the master bathroom. So I decided to move it to the hall bath for easy and embarrassment free access by guests but I had a serious problem... a dinky medicine cabinet that barely contained Russell's hair products let alone a whole treasure trove of wonder cures. So something else needed to happen but on the cheap.

Live, Laugh, Love - Free Simple Printables

Live, Laugh, Love FREE printables at Dream a Little Bigger

My mom was really into rustic signs when I was a kid. When I say really, I mean REALLY. We had practically no space on the walls in our little "country kitchen" in town. If the space wasn't being taken up by a pig, chances are it was taken up by a sign telling you to take or leave supper among others.

My favorite, however, was the Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much sign that was probably 5 feet across and maybe 9 inches tall. There were hearts in between each saying.

The style I have grown into as an adult isn't country anything. It's clean and simple lines, minimal decor, everything matchy matchy. Any time I try to really decorate the place up, I start to have panic attacks - besides - who wants to dust all of that crap anyway?

So I'm working on my master bedroom and high on my agenda are things to go on the wall. This saying has been playing loud and clear in my head for the last few days and I decided to bring it into my home, just in a decorative style that suits me - plain.

Letters from Santa from the North Pole!

Letters from Santa Stamped from the NORTH POLE! - Dream a Little Bigger

In my family we have had a longstanding tradition of really giving the littl'ins a fun experience with Santa Claus. When I was a kid, Santa would call my sister and I on Christmas Eve to let us know what we were doing well, how we were misbehaving and to excite us to the point that it generally made it even more difficult to go to sleep. Little did we know that Santa was actually my Uncle Les.

Nowadays he's called Uncle Skunk and he has maintained the longheld tradition and calls my sister's kids every Christmas Eve without fail. Last year I decided to get in on the action in my own crafty way. For the first time, the boys received letters from Santa that were actually postmarked from the North Pole!
