Crafting is expensive. There are no two ways about it. I wind up running from store to store with my discount coupons trying to stretch my craft budget as far is it will go and sometimes it just isn’t enough.
So when I was given the opportunity to check out Consumer Crafts I jumped at the chance. What I found is a very organized online store with a really, really great selection and prices that will help out with my budget.
Wanna see my favorites?
This stuff is called “Bling on a Roll”. Seriously. I’ve been looking for this stuff for ages online and in brick and mortar stores and when I have found it it is so expensive that I write it off. The cost? $2.77 for 2 yards. Nice.
Next up are styrofoam balls. Now there is nothing inherently nifty about styrofoam balls. But what is nifty is the fact that you can purchase these bad boys INDIVIDUALLY. These 3 inch orbs are only 77 cents apiece. And what is super great is I don’t have to purchase 6 at a time when I only need the one. That right there is going to save me big bucks. I can’t stand paying for more materials than I need!
Maybe best of all, they have 12 inch paper lanterns for $1.77 each. I honestly don’t know what else to say. Kind of speechless…
And here are a few other items from Consumer Crafts that I’m eyeballing:
long pile red fur (9×12) for $1.77
gold sequins (120 – 10mm) for $0.37
8 inch styrofoam wreath for $1.67
silver plated bangle (3 in) for $2.97
10mm chainmail jump rings (135) for $1.97
Now for the really, really great news… Consumer Crafts will be holding a big ol’ Cyber Monday sale and it is one that I’m already planning on hitting up. That stuff you saw up above? Hanging out in my shopping cart till Monday because that is when they are offering 30% off PLUS free shipping.
