I always loved pasta. I mean I loved it, loved it, loved it and could eat it several times a week witout complaint. And then I had to go gluten free and things changed drastically. First off, 2 years ago GF noodles where nowhere nearly as good as they are now (and some of them are still AWFUL). And so I went through tons and tons of types of noodles until I found something I could live with. And that is when I realized just how important the sauce was in pasta.
A jar of store-bought pasta sauce was great, don’t get be wrong, but suddenly my homemade limon was the bees knees. It brought those blah noodles with a weird texture into something I could totally live with. And since then I’ve been creating my own sauces as well as trying recipes from books and websites from all around.
