Hello! Midsommarflicka here, bringing you antoher batch of fun ideas for your home!
Let’s face it: Desks are never ever the prettiest place in your home. Or only for five minutes after cleaning it. Altthough I know this I’m still excited to stumble upon neat and unexpected storage solutions. And I try to tell myself that my desk will be better organized if I only craft another fun storage solution. Sure thing!
(Please remember to pin the individual ideas from the original site!)
This Storage Hoop is a neat solution to find the most important things quick, because they can’t be buried under all the important stuff on your desk! Of course it doesn’t have to be limited to sewing stuff, you can easily change the ribbon to something more neutral.
Now, that we’re at embroidery hoops – you can not only make flat storage for the wall but also sew some Hoop Storage Bags:
If you happen to have a shelf somewhere in your office and it’s already full of things … why don’t put things under it? A Hanging Jar Shelf is a great option for all the small knick-knacks.
Is there still some space left on your desk? Good! Because then you can put an Étagère on it (if you like it!)
If you happen to have wall space you could maybe fulfill my dream? Use an Old Window Shutter to store magazines and mail?
Oh, and while we’re talking about reusind old things and giving them a new life (I’m a big upcycle fan so you will see this more often from me): Keep old Tin Cans and use them to store pens and pencils! You could also think of of painting the cans or maybe glue fabric or scrapbook paper on them.
And here’s one more nice upcycling idea: Newspaper Baskets for … newspapers maybe? ;)
Or maybe you’re more into some Crocheted Baskets?
And if you’re looking for a little pin board which fits the nice embroidery storage solutions you’ve done, here is a Mini Pinboard for you:
And now I wish you so much fun with organizing. And admiring your cleaned space for said 5 minutes ;)
See you soon!
