My mom was really into rustic signs when I was a kid. When I say really, I mean REALLY. We had practically no space on the walls in our little "country kitchen" in town. If the space wasn't being taken up by a pig, chances are it was taken up by a sign telling you to take or leave supper among others.

My favorite, however, was the Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much sign that was probably 5 feet across and maybe 9 inches tall. There were hearts in between each saying.

The style I have grown into as an adult isn't country anything. It's clean and simple lines, minimal decor, everything matchy matchy. Any time I try to really decorate the place up, I start to have panic attacks - besides - who wants to dust all of that crap anyway?

So I'm working on my master bedroom and high on my agenda are things to go on the wall. This saying has been playing loud and clear in my head for the last few days and I decided to bring it into my home, just in a decorative style that suits me - plain.

Click on each of the images above to download the high resolution jpeg printable. They are simple black and white, all lowercase and I think they look gangbusters in a simple black frame. My frames are 8.5 x 11 sized cheapies from IKEA.

If your printer doesn't run black as well as you'd like, you can always take a Sharpie and draw over the type to get a really saturated black. Just be sure to let it dry all the way before you press it up against the glass of the frame.
