Let’s get this link party started! First my favorites from last week! This was such a good week for entries to the link party and I had a really hard time picking my favorite two! but here they are:
This orange zest lemon soap from Essentially Eclectic isn’t only pretty, it’s sure to smell amazing. The process looks pretty darn simple but maybe that’s because Gabby has written up a great tutorial. Gabby is an Arizona transplant living, crafting and blogging in Boston and I get the feeling that she’s incredibly sweet in real life. She’s got lots of DIY beauty products and some super tasty looking recipes, as well.
My next favorite is this too cute geometrically stitched notebook . Let’s meet the maker… Laura is a scientist and wicked smart but she’s also creative – talk about the whole package! She shares life’s little experiments on her blog The Experimental Home. Now this maybe kind of sort of cheating, but I asked her to enter this so I could feature it as a favorite – because I love it so much! This notebook was made for Laura’s package pal (lucky) but she also links up the post with her tutorial to make your own!
And that brings us up to date and ready for this week’s link party. I must admit it’s been very difficult finding entries for a new link party and I was a bit down this week that I couldn’t get more, but we’re growing and it’s going to take some time, right? But if you want to help out, share Link It or Lump It with your friends. The more entries we get, the more eyeballs will hit this page and your awesome creations. And thanks so much to all of you who are linking up. I adore every one of you and your fantastic projects!
The RULES – because a world without rules is chaos:
- Link anything you made yourself but nothing that is available for sale. (you don’t have to have a blog or site just leave that bit empty or link up your Facebook profile, etc.)
- Link back to Dream a Little Bigger to be considered for next week’s feature roundup! (you can grab that awesome button up there – hubba hubba!)
- Click through one or two of your favorites and leave some comment love!
- Entries are randomly placed so that everyone gets top billing. I HATE when I get to a party late and my links get stuck somewhere in the middle! Well, that’s not gonna happen here, folks!
Now I’ve been told that sharing social media links isn’t the way it goes and it’s not what’s meant to be done with a link party, but guess what… it’s my party and I’ll link up if I want to and anyone who doesn’t like it can cram it.Because in my link party, as a prize of sorts, every featured post will get a link to their blog (great for page rank!) plus a short little bio and their social media links like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Bloglovin’ (hopefully for some new ‘likes’ and followers!). So what are you waiting for? This party can’t start without attendees! Link it or lump it!
