Why hello there! I don’t know about where you’re at but here in Oklahoma it’s a lovely day and I’ve got the windows open and airing out the house. It’s so nice after so many dreary weeks! And it’s so hard staying indoors and crafting. I may just have to take a break and sit in the sun :)
In kind of exciting news, my recent tutorial for a pastel, geometric mailbox perfect to receive Valentine cards was featured by Plaid. Check it out! And thanks so much, Plaid!
Last of all, if you’re crazy cat lover like me, you just might want to check out #cat magazine, available in the itunes store where I shared a new catnip toy tutorial. My absolutely adorable GMunnyHunny was my cat product tester and cat model. I think he did a phenomenal job :) So if you’re interested in making up some felt fortune cookies stuffed with catnip, check that digi mag out!
But you didn’t come here to hear me gab. Let’s start this party…
Remember… If you want to pin these lovely projects or tweet them out to your followers, click through and share them from the original site. Give some love to those who worked hard on their amazing projects!
First up we have such a fun idea from Penny at Penny’s Vintage Home! She just so happened to snag a box full of cuckoo clocks and parts for around $20. These clocks and parts were put together to make some absolutely adorable cuckoo clock birdhouses! And just like Penny, they’re all so sweet and happy looking (including some gorgeous pink!)
First off, I love saying this out loud. Leather feather earrings. It’s fun, isn’t it? And so are these absolutely gorgeous leather feather earrings from Cupcakes and Crinoline. They’re simple enough to make and look like something straight out of Anthropologie! Head on over to check out how to make these gorgeous white and gold beauties!
I know we’re technically past Valentine’s Day and we’re all kind of over Valentine projects BUT hearts are forever!!! And I’m totally loving this watercolor heart freebie from Midsommarflicka at So, it was weekend. And I was bored. So head on over and download your own heart and I don’t think Mid would mind terribly if you pretended like you painted it yourself :)
When I clicked over to Sweet Haute to check out this post I kept saying “HOT PINK CANDY APPLES! HOT PINK CANDY APPLES!” I was so stoked it was just about insane. In fact I tried to tell my nephews about them on out Valentine’s Day conference call but their end was just like “aaaaah! candy! chocolate eating contest! gloves! Byeeeee!” Nevertheless, they’re going to totally wig when we make some of these shiny beauties (sereiously check out the reflection in the first apple!). And we will be making these :)
And thanks so much to last week’s co-host!
And don’t forget… you have THREE TIMES the potential for comment love, social shares and featured favorites this coming Sunday, so link up!!! And be sure to share the love with your friends! Grab the buttons below to show you’ve been featured or that you proudly link up!
Share the love, grab a button!
The RULES – because I took the time to write ’em up:
- Link anything you made yourself but nothing that is available for sale. (you don’t have to have a blog or site just leave that bit empty or link up your Facebook profile, etc.)
- Link back to Dream a Little Bigger to be considered for next week’s feature roundup! (you can grab that awesome button up there – hubba hubba!)
- Click through one or two of your favorite links and leave some comment love!
- Entries are randomly placed so that everyone gets top billing. I HATE when I get to a party late and my links get stuck somewhere in the middle! Well, that’s not gonna happen here, folks!
