The big news this week is really pretty spectacularly huge (or at least I think so)! Tired of being plagued with the site going down for no reason and giving error messages and taking forever to load, I decided it was time to go to a better hosting company. I am so insanely pleased with A Small Orange. So far, my site is running more smoothly than ever. PLUS they migrated the site over for me for FREE! Talk about service. So if your blog is growing and shared hosting just isn’t cutting it anymore, I’d like to put A Small Orange out there as an option for you. The prices are very competitive and they’ll help you figure out what plan would be best for you. In fact the one they helped me select cost less than the one I thought I needed so they actually saved me a good deal of money there, too! And if you’re wondering, this totally isn’t sponsored. I know how terrible it is to suffer hosting issues when you’ve got a blog that you depend on the income from and I’m just over the moon with the customer service that I received and know you would be, too!
Last of all I finally shared my office reveal that I’ve been whining about! Right now it’s nothing fancy but it’s waaay functional. And I love it so much! If you missed it, you can check it out here! Oh, and I’m totally keeping my ratty office chair. Never. Ever. Gonna. Give. It. Away. I mean, the cat likes it well enough.
Get ready to feast your eyes (literally, I’m starving as I write this!) on this week’s featured favorites (three of which are edible this week :)
Remember… If you want to pin these lovely projects or tweet them out to your followers, click through and share them from the original site. Give some love to those who worked hard on their amazing projects!
So I kind of sort of hate my new duvet cover. I didn’t pay attention to what I was ordering and it’s black. So I’ve been considering buying another one but I’m not willing to buy just anything and it can’t be ridiculously expensive, either. So maybe I could just make my own like Corey at Tiny Sidekick. The process is super simple and the results amazing. I LOVE that fabric, too. Plus she’s got a money saving tip on backing. How to Make a Duvet Cover
I know I’ve featured another post by Shaken Together fairly recently but, dang! Keri’s recipes are simple and sound simply amazing, too! Look at that luscious red concoction up there. You want it, don’t you? So go ahead and head on over to see just how to make this amazing blender punch that isn’t sugar laden like something you’ll buy out of a gigantic plastic tub. Slushy & Fruity Blender Punch
Oh, yum! What’s better than homemade pie? An amazing looking recipe that is super simple! This Lime Meringue Pie from TitiCrafty by Camila looks super great and even has a nifty chemical reaction, that if I’m being totally honest here, really, really intrigues me! Lime Meringue Pie.
And last but not least we have snow ice cream from An Extraordinary Day. Now I’ve never, ever had snow ice cream. I’ve heard of it but never actually eaten it. Now I’m desperate for another big, heavy snow so I can try this out! The recipe is simple and I think that if a 30+ woman can get this excited, this is definitely one to try with the kids! Easy to Make Snow Ice Cream.
And don’t forget… you have THREE TIMES the potential for comment love, social shares and featured favorites this coming Sunday, so link up!!! And be sure to share the love with your friends! Grab the buttons below to show you’ve been featured or that you proudly link up!
Share the love, grab a button!
The RULES – because even zen people follow some rules:
- Link anything you made yourself but nothing that is available for sale. (you don’t have to have a blog or site just leave that bit empty or link up your Facebook profile, etc.)
- Link back to Dream a Little Bigger to be considered for next week’s feature roundup! (you can grab that awesome button up there – hubba hubba!)
- Click through one or two of your favorite links and leave some comment love!
- Entries are randomly placed so that everyone gets top billing. I HATE when I get to a party late and my links get stuck somewhere in the middle! Well, that’s not gonna happen here, folks!
